EV Drive Motors

Nanyang’s current official range extends beyond appliance motors to drive motors and drive systems for new energy vehicles. This page will be the shortest on the site, on purpose: it states what is documented about the line, and it does not decorate the gap where programme data has not been published.

This line is assessed project by project. Send your equipment drawings and duty data; the reply assesses feasibility first, and any specification, drawings, samples or pricing follow that assessment, in writing.

01 What Is Documented

The line, as the company presents it

Three facts are on the record. First, the company’s current official site presents drive motors and drive systems for new energy vehicles as a headline product line, alongside its appliance motor range. Second, the organisation behind it is a motor maker established in 1992 that integrates R&D, production and sales — whose profile describes a vertical manufacturing base: its own enameled wire plant, and in-house core, die-casting, injection and sheet-metal work on the official range. Which of those inputs serve which product line is a programme-level question, confirmed per enquiry — this page does not assign them to the EV line. Third, the appliance side of the same works is documented to a standard this site can show in full: nine catalogue models with complete published parameters.

What is not on the record: model numbers, power or torque ranges, voltage platforms, cooling arrangements or vehicle applications for the EV line. The company has not published them, and this page will not estimate them. Vehicle drive programmes are in any case specified against a vehicle platform — power and torque envelope, voltage architecture, packaging, duty cycle and volumes — so a generic table would tell a serious buyer nothing.

02 Scoping

How an EV drive enquiry starts

  • Vehicle & application: vehicle type and the drive unit’s role (main traction or auxiliary drive)
  • Performance envelope: peak and continuous power/torque expectations, speed range, system voltage
  • Packaging: available envelope, mounting and cooling provisions in the vehicle
  • Scope: motor only, or motor with controller as a drive system
  • Programme: development stage, validation expectations, volumes and timeline

Enquiries are answered at programme level: the first reply establishes fit and the data-exchange path (data sheets and drawings under the programme’s confidentiality terms), rather than a catalogue price. If your need is actually an appliance-class motor — including high-volume single-phase and BLDC units — the documented ranges on this site will serve you faster, and we will say so.

03 Questions

EV drive, answered plainly

Why is there so little data here?

Because the company has not published model-level data for this line, and this site’s rule is uniform: no source, no numbers. The same rule is why the appliance catalogue can be trusted where it does print figures.

Is this the same company as the washing machine motors?

Yes — one company, Huzhou Nanyang Electric-Motor Co., Ltd. The EV line is presented on its current official site alongside the appliance range documented here.

Can we receive data sheets under NDA?

Programme data exchange is arranged during scoping. Open the enquiry with the five items above and the reply sets out the process.

A programme conversation, not a catalogue sale

Send the vehicle, the envelope and the scope. If the fit is wrong, that is the first thing the reply will tell you.
